Appointment of Dan Levy

Paris, 9 June 2022 –

Ipsos announces the appointment of Dan Levy as Group Chief Financial Officer effective June 10, 2022.

Trained as an economist and statistician, Dan Levy spent the first part of his career from 2001 to 2010 in the Ministry of Finance, Treasury and then in the Budget Department, holding economic, financial and control functions. Between 2005 and 2007 he worked as an economist at the UK Treasury in London.

In 2010, Dan joined Societe Generale, where he has held various positions until today. First to the General Inspectorate where he supervised audit and consulting assignments in France and abroad in all banking matters for 3 years on behalf of the Directorate General. Dan subsequently became a senior banker responsible for strategic relationships (funding and M&A) with Midcaps clients in the technology, engineering and business services sectors. In 2017, Dan took over operational responsibilities, leading a project to combine two business centers for the bank’s large corporate clients, and then became the director of the resulting business center (front-to-back for 230 people).

Dan is a former student at the École Polytechnique (Class of 1996), ENSAE (National School of Statistics and Economic Management) and Sciences Po Paris.

Dan Levy will report to Ben Page, Chief Executive Officer of Ipsos and will replace Lawrence Stoclet, Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer, who until now was responsible for finance and support functions at Ipsos.

Lawrence Stoclet’s term as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and his membership on the Group’s executive committee will end on 30 September 2022, when his other executive functions will be transferred. Lawrence Stoclet will continue to advise Ben Page on certain minority interests that are not consolidated in the Group’s accounts or have minority partners with whom she will continue to represent the Group.
